First Aid/CPR/AED/Blood Borne Pathogens – February 19 (8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) 

 This program is designed to give employees the confidence to respond to emergency situations with skills that can save lives.  The course will cover first aid, CPR, AED, Bloodborne Pathogens, and Stop the Bleed techniques.  Keep Up the Beat (KUB) will guarantee engaging, effective, and reliable training. 

Crisis Response Workshop – March 4 (9 a.m. – 11 a.m.) 

A crisis can happen at any time. It’s important to remember that things happen unexpectedly and can easily escalate, catching us off guard if we are not adequately prepared.  CAWP has developed a crisis response workbook and materials to prepare your company for an unexpected crisis.   

AGC Fall Prevention Training – March 12 (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) 

One-day Fall Prevention in Construction safety training from AGC of America, supported by an OSHA federal training grant. This program will cover fall protection statistics, OSHA standards for fall protection, how to identify fall hazard locations, selection and criteria of fall protection systems and equipment, and fall protection training requirements.

CAWP, Amerisafe Group Training Initiative

CAWP has teamed up with the Amerisafe Group to broaden the training options available to our valued contractor members. Amerisafe Group offers safety and health training courses that are aligned with industry standards and meet OSHA requirements.

Courses range from trench and excavation, confined spaces, silica, fall protection, and OSHA 10 hour.  To view the complete list, as well as member pricing, click on the scheduling form link below.

How to Participate 

Contractors interested in scheduling a course need to complete the scheduling form. Representatives from the Amerisafe Group will be in contact via email/phone to review the requested dates/times and, if necessary, find new dates.

After the course, the contractor will be billed by Amerisafe Group for the reduced amount shown plus any travel fees. Travel fees are billed if distance is greater than 50 miles from Greensburg (No travel fees for training located at CAWP Office). Note, discounted training is only available to CAWP & H2AP Contractor members. The company contact person will be emailed a pdf of certificates noting completion of the CAWP course.
